About the role
As a Junior Audit Manager (m/f/d), the role supports the effective execution of the internal audit function across the organization. With a focus on risk-based auditing and compliance, it contributes to ensuring transparency and operational integrity. Positioned within a dynamic, international environment, the role offers valuable exposure to key governance processes and cross-functional collaboration.
What you will do
You will support the creation and maintenance of audit guidelines and the audit manual
You will support the ongoing risk assessment process
You will assist in drafting the annual risk-based audit plan
You will support defining the scope of work for audit engagements together with the audit lead
You will gather and assess information required for the preparation of audit engagements
You will conduct audit assurance and consulting engagements
You will support the planning and facilitation of kick-off meetings, status updates, and exit meetings with auditees
You will prepare audit reports
You will monitor the implementation of action plans as part of the follow-up process for audited units
You will support the audit quality assurance and improvement program
You will participate in continuous professional education to maintain and develop audit competencies
What you’ll need to succeed
Degree in economics, business administration, or law, or a related field
Preferably professional experience in internal, external audit, compliance, risk management, internal controls or similar
Preferably experience in analyzing business processes
Analytical and structured thinking
Team-focused and cooperative with good communication skills and initiative
Intercultural competence
Business fluent German and English
Willingness to travel 30-50%
