Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant/Manager (m/f/d)
About the role
The IAM Manager will be responsible for leading and enhancing our Identity and Access Management strategy. This role is critical in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access to systems and data across the organization. The IAM manager will be involved in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and driving initiatives that strengthen our security posture.
What you will do
IAM Governance and Planning: Define and implement IAM policies, standards and processes aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Innovation: Propose and lead ideas for improvement in the existing IAM environment with strong focus on security awareness and operational excellence
Access Control: Oversee provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management of technical and user identities across all systems
Technology Oversight: Manage IAM tools, platforms (e.g., EntraID, Active Directory) and interfaces ensuring optimal configuration and performance
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to GDPR, ISO 27001 and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments
Project Delivery: Drive future IAM-related projects e.g. role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), and Identity Governance and Administration.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Security, and Business units to align IAM initiatives with organizational goals
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security or related field
5+ years of experience in IAM management roles within complex enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g., MS Entra ID, Active Directory), OAuth 2.0, SSO (OpenID Connect, SAML), RBAC, Zero Trust Architecture
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
