Outreach activities focusing on Sustainability and Renewable Energy in our projects
We are committed to fostering environmental awareness and encouraging community participation in the protection of our natural surroundings.
Working with the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), we organise various visits to our plants and host awareness days to educate local communities about the significance of renewable energy and possible environmental measures to support local conservation efforts.
Collaboration with Unai Basurko
We have entered into a partnership with Basque sailor Unai Basurko and his organisationPakea, with the shared goal of promoting ocean sustainability.
Among these initiatives is Sea Startlight, an exciting project supported by the European Union’s Next Generation funds, which seeks to link stargazing with sailing.
Rooted in a deep respect for the marine environment, we have joined forces to promote awareness-raising initiatives about our oceans and marine conservation.
Access to the Maar de Hoya de Mortero Monument
At our Poblete solar plant, we have taken measures to enhance access to the natural monument Maar de Hoya de Mortero. This initiative involves the construction of a wooden walkway with a handrail and informative signs to support scientific and environmental education, offering visitors detailed insights into the area.
Additionally, we are creating a pedestrian walkway, a parking area, and planting vegetation along the path to ensure safe access. This project is being carried out with the Castilla-La Mancha regional government, which ensures a didactic approach and the sustainable management of this valuable natural resource.
